- Oct 04, 2013 you use the shooter to shoot viruses (running over a blue bubble heals your status bar), coagulant to heal cuts (you can't get past the stream of red blood cells until you heal it), electrobolt to zap nerve endings (make muscles contract/move by shooting the purple electric things), and the laser to cut through fat and kill bigger viruses.
- Radio Weirdo When you land on Virus Hunter Island, go to the right off of Main Street, past the video shop, and into the fitness center. Now, go to the left, past the pool, and click on the stretchy bands next to the weights. One with snap and give you a Resistance Band.

The Creators recently announced the 20 rarest items on Poptropica (well, not all of them.) Reply to this post if you have the latest ones:
This is the post you're looking for if you need help with Shrink Shot! I'm posting this now because the official Sneak Peek for Shrink Ray is coming up soon. I'm assuming you know the basic idea with this game: point and click to launch at an angle and you get to shoot again if you hit the cannon. It's mostly pure luck because you can't control yourself after you've shot. But here are some pointers anyway. You can get to higher ranks by scoring points in the game, which can come from three different things:
The last three items are members-only. You can only get the grand prize with the last hat, which means that's members-only as well (@#$%^&*)! Each hat causes much more mayhem than the first. Some balls (the ones with arrows) will change your direction and give you extra points. When you hit one three times, it will disappear. There are various objects around the room, which can give you special (and awesome) items as well:
Check out Shark Boy's crazy score if you need inspiration (I actually got higher, but didn't take any video. Excuse my obnoxiousness in that post, I was very young!) In other news, Balloon Boy may be landing soon (finally!) Before I go on break, I have one message for you. The next island, after Shrink Ray, may just be a sequel to Astro-Knights. Don't believe me? The answer lies deep within the old Sneak Peeks. *fainting from shock* Super Awesome Costumizing Options! 5/23/2011 Check this out guys! I'm coming through for that long-forgotten promise I made to post a follow-up to Some stuff you may not have known. In addition to the 'p' key for pause I found earlier, there are about four more super cool ones! Like these:
Prom season is here, so you better get dressed! Here are some ideas... Can't say those look exactly realistic, but it's Poptropica. They'll have to do. And now for some Japnese Costumes... 4/15/2011 Sorry, people! I kind of took this week off of my website, and I thought you guys may be wondering what's happened. No, Poptrickia is not closing down, but it's not going to be changing so fast anymore, either. Cry. To prove that I'm still working on it, I now have a (cheap) search box up there. Anyway... There's some cool new (and old) costumes out there in the Store that would suit this Red Dragon Island/Japan trend just fine. For example, the new Midnight Red Ninja (members-only): Uh... in my opinion it looks more hostile and freaky than cool. But I gotta do my job... You can also get this costume from the new cart beside the sumo ring. A nice and convenient way, and of course non-members will see the classic Midnight Ninja (below.) Click 'Read More' below (or just keep reading.) Some stuff you may not have known... 4/11/2011 Remember the emotes on the sidebar you can use in any muliplayer room? Well, you can now use those anywhere you want, thanks to these cool new keyboard shortcuts:
Click below to 'read more' below for more fun tips! I'm going to type up a follow-ip blog post to this soon... Sumo Wresting in the Sneak Peek! 4/11/2011 I mentioned this earlier, but I'm saying it again: You can now sumo wrestle in the Red Dragon Island Sneak Preview! Just go right and talk to the guy to get started. When he says 'Begin', click! The 'begin' speech bubble doesn't even have to be completely out of his mouth yet! But time it right, 'cause if you click too early you will be DISQUALIFIED. If you click too late, you will be PUSHED OFF THE RING. Protip: The 's' key can be used to skip dialog. Since you may get twitchy because the amount of time until the man says 'begin' is always different, use the 's' key on your keyboard to control when the match begins. In short: wait until he says 'set', then hit 's' immediately followed by a click. Note: This is technically cheating. Each time you win a match, your counter at the top goes up. Every five matches, you will advance to the next rank and get the costume for that rank. Only Members can go past Maegashira. Sorry to all the non-members out there! Here's a list of all the possible ranks (and costumes:)
Some Wild west outfits (old and new!) 4/11/2011 Fans of Wild West Island, this is for you! I've compiled a short, stupid list of some Wild West style costumes just for fun here: (Click 'Read More' below if you don't see anything!) Nabooti Secret Cell phone Numbers! 4/8/2011 Hello again! This time I'm back with the exciting Nabooti secret cell phone numbers! The guys (or gals) over at the forum are wondering what the secret cell phone numbers are, and I thought I'd answer that question (CrazyDinosaur already has, but I thought I'd post it here, too. They're already on Poptrickia's Twitter account.)
